11th of April 2023. Cluj ecosystem launched the first Regional Innovation Valley in Romania to promote innovation-driven territorial transformation, tackle critical societal challenges, and accelerate green and digital transitions. The initiative meets the European Commission’s strategy to establish up to 100 regional innovation valleys that can benefit from co-funding from the European Innovation Ecosystems part of Horizon Europe and the Interregional Innovation Investment (I3) of the European Regional Development Fund.
